System Running Slow [message #213488]

Hi,

I am having two PCs installed with Oracle Personal 8.

My problem is that on PC1 I can do everything smoothly. But on PC2 with same front end programs of forms 6i I am facing problem in fetching LOVs. It is coming drastically slow. DML statements are doing good. I don't know what may be reason behind it. If any one can guide me how get out of this problem?

WHY?
In case you have not noticed, the current version is 10.2+
Please join current century.

Throw away pc2, then all your computers will be fast.

You don't really expect a serious anwer to this, given the amount of information you provided, do you?
And what makes you think this belongs in the PL/SQL Expert forum?

I am not familar with Oracle Personal 8.

Do you have the database and the forms on both PCs or does one PC use the database of the other?
