What version of Forms are you using? You can create the toolbar in a reference form and then reference it in your new form, or in the reference form put the toolbar into an object group then 'copy' the object group into an object library, and then reference the object library from your new form.

Thanks David,

I am using Form6i(6.0.8.8.0).I just create new toolbar and copy it on Object Group>object group Children.

Create a new form, copy/reference the object library, and then compile the new form.

Its all in the Reference Manual under Object Groups.

hi
there is a simple solution of your question
you want to put toolbar on the main form then use it on every form
to do so

create a menu module

then in the property pallete of every menu item which you want to show on the toolbar you have to select one or both options

1.select menu item
2.open property pallete
--------------------------------------------------
select icon in menu = yes
icon filename = icon file name
--------------------------------------------------
visible in horizontal menu = yes
or visible in vertical menu = yes
--------------------------------------------------
your menu item will be shown in the vertical or horizontal toolbar and it will work on every form which is called through the main form menu.

when ever you change the menu the toolbar will automatically changed.

i will work there where the menu is shown

and menu is always globally used

i hope you understand this and will use the global toolbar
