dear all
i'm using text.io package to put data in text file and send it to printer port

but the file always created on server side . i want it to be created on client side .

i'm using forms10g

anyone have solution???

Use 'webutil'. Search this forum for 'webutil' and 'web_util'.

plz , explane how to use webutil
i attached it to my form but when i call it like

client_text_io.put_line(l_tempfile,'abcd'); it's not accepted

What does "it's not accepted" mean? Did you get a compile error or a runtime error. Please list it.

I also directed you to "Search this forum for 'webutil' and 'web_util'." Did you do that?
