Hi,

If we choose Printer Option in the Front End Screen(Oracle Forms 10g) and send to printer its printing Report (Oracle 10g) ASCII or some Junk characters..Any Idea why it comes?

If u Click Printer Radio Button it will populate an LOV with all available Printers..we select it and give print..

(We are Using Forms Version 10.1.2.0.2
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0
and
Report 10.1.2.0.2
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0
and back end is Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0)

Regards,
Sharan

No..Its not solved..

Its seems to be poblem due to Printer Driver..

I guess PostScript Printer Driver(winsteng.exe) and ppd file(hp.exe) should be installed(Becoz we are using hp printer)

Thanks,
Sharan

I can only suggest that you produce all your reports in PDF format and then pass the PDF file to the printer. That way, the Adobe software handles the problem of font types and font sizes.
