I have one word format file in D directory.i have one text item in the form I have to pass the filepath through this text item to the report.when i run report it should display the data of the Os file.
what can i do for this.
can i create a table with column of datatype clob or bfile or blob.which stores the path of the os file .if this is possible i can refer this column through the text item.
I dont know exactly what i have to do.
please give the details steps.
I tried with utl_file .it is working when i create a pl/sql procedure.but it is not working in forms.
I have only the Os file.i want to display the data of the file in report.what can i do.
my total project was completed except this .
please help me.
