have a small brolem when the first message is longer than second message [message #157800]

when i display the first message [ message('This is a message'); ] and then clear that message to display the second message [ clear_message(); message('Helloo:'); ].

The message on the status bar of form (message line) following:

Helloo: a message

method: clear_message() is not bring result as required.
help me please! (i'm using oracle form 6i)

(i tried to use statement SYNCHRONIZE follow each statement MESSAGE, but no result).

I couldn't reproduce the error. Are you up to date on all of the patches?

Thank you, i installed Patch 14 (6i) packet, but i haven't understand your mind yet. Could you show me more?

i tried to use message('Helloo'||str_100_blank) too, but it still nochange.(i replace variable str_100_blank because i can't type blank string in this topic).
