i have a problem in executing host command in win xp.

any one please help me how to use host command in
forms 6i and windows xp prof.

Host command can be found in the reference manual doco.

If you are a NEW installation under WP and you are running SP2, have a look at "XP SP2 problem - set USE_SHARED_SOCKET=TRUE in registry and reboot" in http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/52166/67467/.
