Hi
We are trying to export the data stored in the custom form using the export facility in Oracle Applications but it is not exporting to an excel file. We are however able to export the data from an Oracle Apps standard form.

Hi
Have found the reason why the export was not happening. Thought of posting it in case someone else also faces the same situation. Though we had created the form using template.fmb, the fmb file was not in the AU directory but in the directory of module for which it was made, for eg. GMF. So when the compilation was happening, it was not getting the properties of the standard APPSTAND, APPCORE etc and hence export, standard messages etc, were not working properly.
After we moved the fmb file to the AU diretory and then compiled it and put only the fmx in the directory that we wanted, all this problem was solved and now it is working perfectly.

Question: When you log into Oracle Apps, do you get a yellow bar across the bottom of the applet that reads 'WARNING....'?
If so, you need to replace your identity.obj file in your c:\program files\oracle directory. Check your server for an updated file.
