I am getting the same error on a form I am setting up under version 10.1.2 Form Builder. But when I press Shift-F1 I get a Getting Started with Internet Explorer popup. I am running the form under OAS. I have a parent/child relationship between 2 tables that I query on the form. Any advice?

A copy of the fmb file is attached for anyone that can access it.

Doug

Select display error from the runtime help menu.

Cookiemonster,

When I display the error from the help menu, I get:
SELECT ROWID,REF(O),O.PIIN,O.VENDOR_CODE,O.DODAAC,O.TOP_DATE,O.TOP_CODE,O.TOP_AMT,O.REMIT_TO_CODE,O.COMPANY_NAME,O.ADDRESS_LINE_1,O.ADDRESS_ LINE_2,O.CITY,O.STATE_CODE,O.ZIP_CODE,O.COUNTRY,O.TRANS_DATE,O.CLERK_CODE,O.STATUS,O.TOP_BAL,O.TOP_YEAR,O.TOP_FLAG,O.CURRENCY_CODE,O. US_TOP_AMT FROM OLDOFFSETDB O WHERE (O.PIIN=:1)

ORA-00904: "O": invalid identifier

Why would O be an invalid indentifier, since it is defined as an alias here for OLDOFFSETDB?

I suspect it's complaining about this bit:
REF(O),

Any idea what that is?

No, I don't. I tried to search for that code in the source fmb, but have not found it either. Sad

Could have sworn I replied to this yesterday but it seems to have gone MIA.

What's the Include REF Item Property of the datablock set to?

@Cookiemonster: I split those messages from an ancient topic and thought that *maybe* your posting and my splitting collided (sort of). So I checked your messages for the last few days but - didn't find anything. If I made your message disappear, I'm terribly sorry, but I don't know how I managed to do that.

Please answer CM's question "What's the Include REF Item Property of the datablock set to?"

Try to set Include Ref Item property to its default value, 'NO'.

Have you solved your problem?

Have you done a Ctrl-Shft-K (Compile All) and then Ctrl-T (Generate)?
