Search this forum and Oracle website for 'd2kwutil'.

Read the comments in 'd2kwutil' to find out about the various parameters for each command.

Yoy can do a 'client_batch' command of 'dir > xxx.txt' and then read the 'xxx.txt' file to verify the size of each file.

HELLO
ACCORDING TO MEASURING SIZE OF OLE OBJECTS .
PLEASE ME THAT IS IT POSSIBLE RO RECOGNIZE SOME ATTRIBUTES OF OLE OBJECTS ON ORACLE FORM 6I OR NOT ?
I ALREADY USE 'D2KWUTIL' FOR SOME REASONS , BUT I DONT'T KNOW EXACTLY WHICH FUNCTION IN THIS LIBRARY COULD HELP ME.
FOR EXAMPLE, I USE WIN_API_FILE.FILE_SIZE FOR FINDING THE LENGTH OF IMAGE, BUT IT CAN'T DETERMINE THE LENGTH OF OLE OBJECT ON FORM.
THANKS FOR HELPING ME.

Sorry that I have been so long in replying. Have you solved your problem?

Please don't shout! That is, don't use all capital letters. It is rude.

I don't know if 'd2kwutil' can tell the size of Forms' objects.

There is a commercial group whose website http://www.orcl-toolbox.com/ describes two tools that might be able to give you information, but not from within the form.

Search this forum for 'forms api' and check out the references to the JDApi. There may be something there that can help.
