Dear,

I have suffering a problem with bangla date & number.
I cann't insert Date & Number in bangla format in my database
from DeveloperSuit10gR2 with JRE(Version: 1.6.0_17-b04).
But the Bangla Character is Successfully saved & retrived.
(Only problem is date & number)

01.Database Unicode AL32UTF8
02.NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8
in both Database & DevSuit Home.
03.Font: SolaimanLipi.ttf
04.AvroKey Board version(4.1.0)

How can i solve my problem?

regards

Tamzidul Amin.

Okay, what does a 'Bangla date' and a 'Bangla number' look like?

Have you played with the various 'NLS_LANG' settings?

Which 'NLS_LANG' have you changed? Have a look at http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/globalization/htdocs/nls_lang%20faq.htm
and http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe9ir2/obe-nls/nchar/nchar.htm and http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14117_01/server.101/b10749/ch3globenv.htm
