Hi,

I have to initiate the execution of a sql script in unix from my forms application and once that is completed I have to transfer the output file to my client machine. I have the code to transfer the file from App server to client machine (using webutil). I beleive HOST command will help to execute the shell script from forms. But how to identify the completion of the unix script in forms, so that I will start the file transfer.

Thanks in advance.

Have you considered creating a timer that looks to see if the file exists?
