Where To place the oracle 10g forms and reports folder in Linux server

Hi....

Currently iam migrating a module to oracle 10g.
All my modules which consists of form folders and report folders are inside a
folder called PROJECT and placed in C:\ in windows server.
So when i want to call a form or report i have used path as 'C:\PROJECT\module_name\form_name.fmx';
Now my client wants his project to be used in LINUX based server.

Now i want to know where i have to place my Project's form folder and reports folder
and how i have to call them...

thanx in advance

Ofcourse; Try to put all the files in linux (as per your requirement), and change your application code.

Thanks

thanx for your replies.....

Actually my client is going to use Linux based application server.
He said OEL.There will be an application server and the database server separately. Now i have to put my migrated forms into linux application server and call it from client machine
mostly Windows based.

Now i want to know where this project folder should be fixed.

You don't call it from the client machine. Your users access the Application Server and it calls the various forms.

Just put your form with all the other forms. Remember, you will have to recompile your forms on the linux machine.

Look in the Linux forum, search this forum for 'linux', or read the documentation that came with the Linux version of Forms.
