Hi,

My requirement is i am entering a value for a field, after succesfull insertion of records into db,i need to display a message.

the consignment no is # ,below there will be a ok button, if ok is pressed the cursor should be placed in the first record.

please advice how to do this.

do i need to create another content canvas and use it.

pls help.

It seems that alert is what you are looking for (actually, should search for). It is capable of doing the whole job for you (with a little bit of programming on your side).
