Hi all,
I have written program to transfer the data from excel sheet to database using ole2 . I have achieved this functionality.But When I try to delete the transferred excel sheet using shift+delete the system does not allow me to do so and also the file becomes READ-ONLY.
Is there anything in ole2 package similar to TEXT_IO.FCLOSE like in text_io package.

have you reviewed the 'ole2' threads in this forum?
What makes you think that it is an 'ole2' problem? I suggest looking at the MS Excel documentation.
